Washi Tape!

This is a listing for our washi tape, each measuring approx 2cm x 69cm. Each roll is made with CMYK printing, and may have an occasional red registration line on it in-between "repetitions" of the pattern.

┬┴┬┴┤･ω･)ﾉ WHAT IS WASHI TAPE?
Washi tape is, in layman's terms, a custom-printed, mini masking tape. Like masking tape, it can be temporarily used to seal an edge of a (paper or vellum) canvas, or to hang things of reasonable size (grocery lists, sticky notes, polaroids) from boards or fridges. There's a ton of really cool history behind the design, function, and purpose of the tape - but the most common purposes we see today for the type we have listed are for journaling and illustrating. Folks will also use these in gorgeous collage works of art - try searching "washi tape art" on your video platform of choice, it's really cool!

The washi tape come in kraft paper "pillow" boxes, with a matte label paper sticker on the outsides. We'd say it's fully compostable, but we don't know the chemical composition of the adhesive and inks. Please dispose of it safely.

This product ships in either a poly bag or a cardboard box, depending on the size of your order. (the washi will be in water-resistant packaging inside, in case the outer packaging it damaged in transit.)
